Madison and I met back in August 2012 when I had the pleasure of photographing her senior photos. This girl is a force to be reckoned with. She graduated at the top of her class as valedictorian from Zion Benton Township High School. Madison is one of the most impressive high school aged girls I have ever met. As a young girl she recounted watching a video about prosthetics, which fueled her desire for a degree in engineering. Not only is she intelligent and driven, but also compassionate.
About one year later I was updating my portfolio and website and needed some new senior images. Madison came to mind immediately. I reached out to Madison to see if she would be willing to model for me. She is such a beautiful photogenic girl and I also wanted to catch up with her to see how she was doing since our last session. Since her senior session she began attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and became chapter president of her sorority.
We went down to Southport Beach house in Kenosha at the beginning of the session. Her first outfit was a white ruffle top paired with navy linen pants. This nautical ensemble worked perfectly by the Southport Beach House. Madison’s second outfit consisted of turquoise skinny jeans, with a matching turquoise and coral chiffon top.
After photographing these two gorgeous outfits by Lake Michigan, we then ventured to downtown Kenosha for some more urban scenery. I think out of all the outfits, the third one was my absolute favorite. She had a pair of red skinny jeans, a bright yellow tank, studded combat boots and a patterned scarf to pull the whole outfit together. If you couldn’t tell from her previous turquoise outfit, Madison loves bright colors! Her last outfit was a hot pink blazer, a floral button down, distressed skinny jeans and patent black flats. The bright colors complemented the urban backdrop perfectly.
She was so easy to photograph, and didn’t even need direction on how to pose. Thank you Madison for modeling for me again!
